Each time a client gives me the opportunity to support them in life changes, I am deeply honored.  I cannot take lightly the impact a therapist has on the lives of those that they work with and I have always been humbled by the fact that I am chosen to lovingly challenge the thoughts and actions of my clients.

Our therapeutic journey is one that can be likened to a tough workout.  We may or may not want to do it in the beginning, knowing it needs to be done for our health, and may be uncomfortable during it, but we're always better on the other side.  

I am the therapist that challenges you, and works to bring out the best in you, finding the things that work for each client as an individual, healing beginning with our core and moving to the surface. I maintain an integrous, safe, challenging, supportive, and thought-provoking therapeutic environment for my clients. 

As a graduate of the University of Houston-Clear Lake Marriage and Family Therapy program, my focus has been on the healing and sustainability of individuals and families. Family systems work points out that our family of origin story is critical in the formation of our values and beliefs and, at times, has left many struggling to reach a new phase of life.  

My therapeutic approach supports the understanding and acceptance of our origin and cultivation of the life that is best for us, regardless of the starting point.  I fully recognize that our family origin story has an impact on who we become and is the practice ground for our relationships, ethics, and value systems. Those beliefs become the cornerstone of life's successes and shortcomings, therefore I strive to support clients to create a safe and healthy lifestyle through analysis of the cognitions and the actions those thoughts embody. 

I believe in the conglomerated therapeutic approach, allowing me to tailor my interventions to address the myriad of concerns that clients have. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you in reaching the next phase of life, happier and healthier!
