Jacquina Sowell

Jacquina has gained valuable experience working with 8 Phases Behavioral Health under the supervision of Shalonvia Gundy, MA, LPC-S, as well as through her roles with the City of Houston and the Houston Independent School District (HISD). These professional experiences have strengthened her skills in crisis intervention, cultural competence, and compassionate therapeutic care.

As an emerging clinical mental health professional, Jacquina holds certification in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and is passionate about comprehensive client assessment, treatment planning, and skill development. She works collaboratively with individuals and families to address a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges helping clients build resilience and achieve personal growth.
